Porter Robinson Drops 'SMILE! :D plus+' — 16 Remixes and a Shortcut to Electronic Music's New Wave
Porter Robinson released 'SMILE! :D plus+' on November 6, 2026 — a 16-track, two-disc remix expansion of his 2024 album 'SMILE! :D', out via Mom+Pop Music. The remixers, not the originals, are the story: the album hands Robinson's songs to the producers shaping electronic music's next wave.
What it is
- 16 tracks across two discs, running 1 hour 4 minutes, via Mom+Pop Music.
- The original 'SMILE! :D' was Robinson's third studio album, released July 26, 2024.
- Remixers include Ninajirachi, underscores, G Jones, Nitepunk, Frost Children, EJEAN, Leon Valley, Vertile, jamesjamesjames, Control Freak, Atura, Joey Valence, Galileo Galilei, Ashelyy and Hatsune Miku — plus Robinson himself, under his DJ NOT PORTER ROBINSON moniker.
The tracks to start with
- Nitepunk's high-energy reworking of 'Cheerleader'.
- G Jones' take on 'Russian Roulette'.
- Ninajirachi and underscores' collaboration on 'Perfect Pinterest Garden'.
- Frost Children's experimental-pop version of 'Is There Really No Happiness?'.
- 'Cheerleader' featuring Hatsune Miku and Jamie Paige — the collection's wildcard, a virtual pop star on a song about performing happiness.

Why it matters for discovery
A remix album is usually a victory lap. This one works better as a map: nearly every remixer here is a rising name with their own scene behind them. Ninajirachi and underscores represent the hyperpop-adjacent generation, G Jones and Nitepunk are bass music's current vanguard, and Frost Children bring experimental pop into the room. If you came to Porter Robinson through 'Worlds' or 'Nurture', this is the fastest way to meet the producers his audience is already following — sixteen tracks, a dozen new artists, one listen.
