Why the timing matters
The tour lands just days after Garrix's debut pop album MARTY, due March 5, 2027. That sequencing turns the India run into something more than a greatest-hits victory lap: audiences will hear a new album's material almost immediately, in rooms built for scale. For fans discovering Garrix through that album, the tour is the fastest route from a studio record to a live set.
The India connection
Garrix has described India as a special part of his journey, saying he has played some of his most unforgettable shows there over more than a decade. His 2023 nine-city India tour reportedly drew a cumulative 150,000 fans, and he returned in March 2024 for a Holi stadium show in Navi Mumbai. This time, Garrix says the tour will celebrate Holi with close to 200,000 people — a step up in ambition that matches the 10-city, 12-day sprint.
